the other day I asked chris, 'am I your number one favorite?' his face exploded with laughter & smiles and asked what on earth I was talking about and commented on how cute I was. it was one of those (frequent) moments where I was having a chain of thoughts & inner dialogue that I forget chris is not hearing. while he thought it was out of nowhere & quirky, I was speaking in reference to his cell phone that we had recently been discussing. I wanted to know if I was his most frequently called person, who automatically gets put at the top of a favorite list. after I explained and we had a good laugh, he said, 'you are absolutely my number one favorite & always will be.' I love my husband!
